We are preparing for this year's first EV summer camp for kids. It will serve as a nexus for programs that serve the community and offer new opportunities. An example is a program to foster the development of summer camp opportunities for local children and youth. Summer camps are a great chance for kids to experience new things, learn, and grow. Eugene is located in an area with great summer weather, woodlands, and meadows, ideal for summer camps. Eugene also has a large population of artists, musicians, and educators, with expertise and experience to share. There are a variety of ideas for camps that could be developed locally focusing on the visual and performing arts, immersive language and cultural programs, sports, and more.
