Energy Village Presents Think Tank, a Community Conversation with Cali Bagby

In a continuing series of illuminating public meetings with the people working to improve our society, Think Tank provides a forum for community conversation with leaders, visionaries, and project developers.

Eugene, Oregon April 28, 2010 -- Energy Village presents Think Tank, a discussion with Cali Bagby, local journalist.

The event takes place at the Davis Restaurant at 94 West Broadway.
Networking is from 6-6:30pm
and the lecture is 6:30 to 8:00.

The Lecture Topic:

A year in Iraq and the aftermath

This spring, over 1,000 Oregon soldiers return from Iraq and with them they will carry the aftermath of their year in a war zone. In a time when it is all too easy to ignore this long war we can’t afford to ignore the soldiers who work beside us, drive on the road with us and live beside us. As the two cultures of the military and civilian world collide, the community must find a way to understand each other and participate in open discussions. My lecture will discuss the world these soldiers have recently left and the process of reintegration.
